Hey all!
Not been very active AT ALL on deviant art for the past few months. That's because i've been making an animation for the final year of my degree. It took up loads of my time just sorting the story, designing characters and even longer to finalise an animatic, animate and colour the whole thing.

I was dreading making this as i've been kind of a slacker for the 1st and second year of uni. Never actually done more than one successful project (as in, I couldn't animate before I made this lol), so this was quite a challenge. Its been handed in to uni now and it got a really cool response from the people that watched the crit of all our films.
Been working a while on this one so drop me a line if you enjoy the film.
Music credits go to EMI, still trying to aquire the rights for the song. All other credits go to me!

THE STORY
A mad scientist is working on wacky brainswapping experiments in his lab. He is interupted by intruders, but who are they and how can he use his experiment to defeat them?

That was awesome! I really like your effects and the story is creative. I really liked how it was scheduled for the a angry mob to show up that day :D I don't even wanna ask how long that took you ha ha. I can't wait to hit some animation classes down the line at my school. I'll probably be asking you for help :confused:

This was really awesome. The animation style is very eye-catching and bold, and the whole thing...so freakin' twisted; I loved it. I have a fascination with animation, and I'm so glad that you were able to make this--it was well worth the time, stress, and whatever sacrifices you had to make in order to conceive this! The music? Was particularly awesome as well. Bravo! :clap:

I'm glad you enjoyed it! My boyrfriend drew the octopus bursting the guys head and the crododile using the hammer as I ran out of time. Other than that it's all mine :)

Thanks so much, i'm so pleased you thought it was cool and twisted hehe! The animation and backgrounds themselves were started only a couple of months ago, but building the story and idea takes a long time. But *whew* its done now, and it was all worth it for the kind words you guys have given me! Still waiting to aquire rights for the music though :(
