hi all,
*EDIT* Shoved the colour version with it aswell. It doesn't look good, but seems a shame to waste it.

Devil May Cry is pretty much my favourite game and Dante one of my favourite characters, yet madly enough i've never posted a proper fanart of him online. I drew this today 'cos i'm so excited about Devil May Cry 3!!!

It's Dante an Vergil back in their younger days (not really true to them as they wouldn't hang out like this, but it would be cool if they did.
I botched up the colouring 'cos was very distracted by tv when colouring this, so I just converted it to black and white. The only thing I like in the colour version is that I'd really contrasted their skin colour so that Vegil had a pastey look compared to Dante. Oh well, don't cg and watch tv kids!!!

I bet they liked to cause all kinds of trouble, lookin' at them, and knowin' Dante anyway. I like how they look, too...Dante just munchin' on that candy cane, and Vergil makin' a face at the camera. Their fashion sense rules, but considering who these guys are, they'd have to. The colouring is quite nice; I like how it's black and white, with the colouring being on their pants and pendants. And the hair looks great too. :nod: Overall, I like how this turned out. Can't wait for DMC 3.

...and I'll be sure to take your lesson to heart. :nod:

I love the lightening on the body!

I actually prefer the coloured one. The awesome lighting is more apparent in it, which I really like. It's a simple style, but it really works. Well done!

Your contrasting abilities are envied by me... Envied, I say!

Guuuuuh.. *paws screen* I REALLY like the grey one.. ^^; I just love that sort of style though... having most greyscale and just a bit of colour.

I like both versions quite a bit! The style fits them and the image screams attitude!
