I actually wanted the last picture I put up before my pc gets stored away to be my drunkren Sirius Black fanart. Unfortunately my computer is being taken away in around 40 minutes so I'm gonna have to put sirius to one side an post this up for now.
It's Simon Pegg (aka Shaun, Tim Bisley from Shaun of the Dead and Spaced) Quick sketch that I gave a quick coat of cg. Flaws ahoy but I don't care as its such a quicky, and its meant to be similar to the manic style he uses in the show.
For anyone who hasn't seen Spaced, I can't stress enough on how much you must!
Awesome! That purple highlight going down the edge of his right side (our left) is a great touch! Really gives it atmosphere. While I would have put a little more darkness on the other side, to balance it a bit more (although that could be because of your dark monitor problem), it's still a great pic! Love the expression and cartoony look. ^^
TIMMMMMMM!!!!! Hahaha I can just imagine him drawing this picture of himself. I love how Spaced keeps switching between these imaginary scenes then suddenly switch back to reality. Lol this is great. The purpleness on the left hand side looks really nice and nice touch with the eyeball hehe.
Nice. Rather surreal, which i suppose is fitting. I didn't see that much of spaced, but i'll try and catch it when it comes round again. I do remember the slo mo gunfight scene. Quite. Funny.
I think I am scarred for life by this, but it is still amaaaazing!!! I love Spaced too, it's my fave TV programme XD There is so little Spaced art out there...
A brand new monthly article which showcases some of deviantART's finest equine artists, as well as recognizing the lesser-known but equally talented ones. Interviews, helpful tutorials and features can all be found here too! I hope you enjoy it.
The idea of this contest is to set you up completely blind with a mythical being - from any world culture - and turn you loose to come up with a deviation based around it!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
